The building has now been transformed into an exquisite 74-room hotel, Yangon Excelsior. The renovation project has won Yangon Heritage Trust’s 2019 Heritage Conservation Awards for the Best Adaptive Reuse. The building has been regularly featured in international design publications, including Design and Architecture Magazine who wrote -
